About This Event

As part of the dialogue series with members of the Syrian People’s Assembly in “Dialogue Space,” the Education Office is hosting Mr. Abdul Fattah Hussein Obeid, a member of the Syrian People’s Assembly, for an open dialogue session addressing several priority national issues. The discussion will focus primarily on education reform, the development of legislation governing the education sector, safeguarding teachers’ rights, and ensuring justice for employees who were dismissed from their positions because of their participation in the Syrian revolution. The session will examine the legislative and oversight role of the People’s Assembly in enacting laws that promote justice and support the development of a modern and equitable education system capable of contributing to the advancement of Syrian society and shaping its future. Part of the session will be dedicated to answering participants’ questions and hearing their views and proposals. Date and Time Friday, 24 July 2026 18:00 Berlin time 19:00 Damascus time
